Lower taxes and de-regulation created the mess that our President is trying to fix. I really do not understand when Republicans say that lower taxes will create jobs it did not happen from 2000 to 2008. De-regulation caused the housing crisis! The rich do not reinvest they send the money off-shore with the jobs.
Two Points:
1) I want to hear "Morning Joe Show" talk about how the Republican Senators blocked a Veteran's Jobs Bill yesterday! Haven't we been in two wars that they supported as a majority for 10+ years. Use or Soldiers and to protect the Country and when they return 'throw them under the bus?!!!" Americans wake up and vote Democratic in November!!!
2). Republicans were not interested in the Fast And Furious Scandal and the deaths that occured, they were all about going after Eric Holder. And it shows now. If they had found Holder guilty of negligence it would be all over the networks; even now Joe Scarborough doesn't want to talk about the results of this but mostly wants to talk about how they did not find him guilty. Joe and his political republican cronies using innocent hurting people to attack people they do not like....did not work ...again. God Bless America. We do seem to continue getting better!!

Everything that Sen. Coburn just said would get this economy going is what we did under Bush. It didn't work and no one on the panel challenged him on it. Nothing trickles down. He says you can't raise taxes on the wealthy in this economy, yet he wants to cut benefits to the middle class and the poor at a time when they are hurting the most. The middle class drives the economy. If the middle class is not spending there is no need for the wealthy to create jobs.
Speaking of Government Bullies… Republicans in Congress just killed Vets jobs bill S.3457 led by Rand Paul who filibustered the legislation AND NOT ONE OF YOU SO-CALLED NEWS PEOPLE AT THE TABLE CALLED HIM ON IT! AND YOU'RE CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF THIS?

Where are the questions about Fast and Furious under the Bush administration . It started then but the Republicans were not concerned about the entire program. Their goal was not the truth. The goal was to target Eric Holder and President Obama.

I watch Morning Joe to hear all the interesting and intelligent guests. I am amazed that these people continue to come on knowing that most of their time on camera will be taken up by Joe Scarborough making jokes and being silly, repeating himself to be sure he makes his point, refering to the days he was in congress or just dominating the conversation to keep others from expressing their ideas. If others don't agree or point out the flaws in what he is saying he lashes out in anger or if all else fails he pouts.
I have resorted to using the mute button whenever he is talking which I have noticed is way too much of the time. I would love to see an open give and take of ideas instead to each guest waiting and waiting til he finishes to even respond to a question. Is it just me are are others feeling the same frustration?
Senator Richard Burr Repub of NC co wrote Veterans Job Bill and voted no yesterday with his buddies but it isn't about politics is it? Send them over bring them home and forget about 'em. SHAME. My husband is a Vietnam vet and this kind of politics brings it all back home to him...how the lucky ones who avoided the draft and didn't volunteer actually made fun and derided the soldiers who they labeled "baby killers". Again SHAME on this country when it asks men to serve and then wave them off when they come home.

The Republicans are so hypocritical! Today Rand Paul makes the point that Eric Holder should be responsible because was the top man. He uses the example of CEOs being held responsible if their company ends up in bankruptcy. But CEO Romney and Bain get a pass on the failures of the companies that they took over. Republican philosophy, if we do something its great, if the Democrats do it, lets burn them for it. Bill Clinton was right, "it takes some brass"
The private market place (private insurance) did not provide for the health care of all Americans. So where capitalism leaves some by the wayside, the government "for the people" has a responsibility to address the needs of those left behind.
and the not so affordable care act is going to cost 6million Americans , mostly middle class who cant afford health insurance $1200 each in new taxes! Great plan .

This country is built on the redistribution of money. We pay all types of taxes on a local, state and federal level and that money is used by the government on schools, roads, keeping food, water and air safe, police and fire protection. Government funded research was the foundation for the internet's success. These things are for all Americans. This is the idea that President Obama was referring to.
I watched today's show and concluded that Joe is just about the biggest flip-flopper as Mitt Romney. Just a few short days ago he was bad mouthing Mitt so bad and told people out there what was wrong with Mitt Romney, and now he has all of this happy expectation of what Romney is doing within the last 24 hours. All Mitt Romney is doing is simply flip-flopping again. Romney is simply telling me as one of those independent thinkers out there that he now cares for 100% of the voters. Do they think that I don't have his speech strapped to my side (smart phone) reminding what he has been saying all of these last 18 months bad mouthing President Obama and how Obamacare was bad and he is going to repeal it the very day he gets in the White House.
All of these commentators and analysis being done on your show saying that other past elections have shown the trends where other candidates were behind and they were able to pull out and win. That is correct, but I am a much better educated and smarter voter today; in that todays i-phone, i-pad and other internet media prevents me from doing something so stupid. When I watch people like Joe and Romney flip-flopping so much, it tells me to always be cautious and to go with my instincts. DO NOT LISTEN TO FLIP FLOPPERS BECAUSE THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
I am going to now go out and build me a set of weather vains with the picture of a two faced Romney on one side with a two faced Ryan on the other side and mount it on my house and in my yard and let it turn in the wind reminding me how much a flip flopper the Romney/Ryan ticket is. I hate flip-floppers, simply because flip floppers are simply lyers blowing in the wind.
