Joe, Joe-what has happened to you????? Spending too much time with your predominantly liberal co-hosts have altered your reality. The criticism of Romney this week was unwarranted and unjustified. What alternate universe are you now living in?? From the first moment of Obama's administration he has set the tone... the US is culpable for most of the misfortune and suffering in the world and he (Obama) apologizes. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH is all the Mideast Region understands!!
Thanks for sending you email from the alternate universe of Fox and Limbaugh Pat, where truth doesn't exist but racism reigns supreme.
Since all you understand and listen to is racism and lies why are you even watching MSNBC? Just stay tuned into Fox whose executives and "journalists" have openly admitted numerous times that if are viewing them as real news you are a "fool" because they are not real news. They are expressing opinions and not using facts to push their agenda.
Both Romneys and Roves books claiming that Obama has apologized has been proved pure fiction and every fact checking organization who have found that in every single instance Rove and Romney have lied. The President has NEVER apologized for America even once.
The Republican Party and leaders have turned into nothing but liars and hypocrites driven by greed. Joe is just pointing it out in an honest way because if he doesn't just like the Democrats 30 - 40 years ago the Republicans will lose power for the next three to four decades.
So go back to Fox and bury your head in propaganda, hatred and lies while your party self destructs or wake up and start being honest like Joe.
A Message of WAR and the COST to the American Middle Class
In an interview with Fareed Zakaria:
Fareed Zakaria: You know that there are people in the United States who’ve criticized President Obama for not supporting Israel strongly enough. Do you believe that President Obama is a very strong supporter of Israel?
Ehud Barak: He is extremely strong supporter of Israel in regard to its security. Traditionally, the president will support Israel in keeping its collective military edge and taking care of its security needs. But this administration is excelling in this. And it could not have happened without the immediate direct support of the president. So I don’t think that anyone can raise any question mark about the devotion of this president to the security of Israel.
(Joshua Mitnick | The Christian Science Monitor | Sep 14, 2012), “After months of publicly and privately expressing support for an aggressive posture towards Iran, Mr. Barak seems to have joined those opposing an attack any time soon. With much of Israel’s military establishment and the US opposed to a strike, a Barak defection would isolate the Israeli prime minister as the lone proponent of military action at the upper reaches of either country.
“[Barak] came to recognize that without America you can’t do a thing like attack an Iranian nuclear site,” said Shimon Shiffer, a veteran columnist at the daily newspaper Yediot Ahronot. “He is not with Netanyahu at this stage. Their alliance is over.”
It seems to me that President Obama has been a strong ally of Israel; the American People both Democrats and Republicans support the Jewish State without question. It is not a good idea for Prime Minister Netanyahu, to purposely put America’s relationship with Israel in the middle of a VERY polarized electorate. This could quickly get away from him. It seem irresponsible, although I understand where is coming from and the fears he has for his Country. I cannot imagine what it must feel like to live in Israel, with the constant threat of attack.
But America is WAR weary; we have lost over 5,600 American sons and daughters in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. American Tax Payers have lost United States Treasure that is mind boggling, 1,373,461,650.000 and counting, according to the National Priorities Project. We are being asked to pay this bill with Social Security, Medicare, Tri-care, Medicaid, Food Stamps for the hungry and our homeowner’s exemption and charitable deductions. Prime Minister Netanyahu will need the support of the AMERICAN PEOPLE, both Democrats and Republicans for a WAR.
It is TERRIFYING and BEYOND the IMAGINATION to me that Mitt Romney who would not even serve himself in the military nor have any of his sons, saber rattles in such a CAVALIER and CARTOONISH manner. This man who cannot express his policies to the American People, this man who cannot share his taxes so that we can make an informed vote, this man who has questionable ethics and is simply a LIAR and this man who neglected to mention the sacrifices of those sons and daughters fighting abroad wants us to TRUST HIM to lead us into another WAR.
This WAR that Mr. Netanyahu and Mitt Romney want us to engage in is not some small military conflict. It will ignite the Middle East; it will quickly and surely get out of control and could take us into a World War. It does not sound at this point that Prime Minister Netanyahu even has the support of his Countrymen for this action at this time.
President Obama has my support to try to solve this conflict in a thoughtful, NON EMOTIONAL and deliberate manner. Hopefully with Diplomacy, I have no appetite for another WAR, of course when the time comes I will be an American and fully engage and support the President’s decision. But rushing in to a WAR without doing “Everything” we can to avert this calamity would be my preference.
I do not TRUST Mitt Romney in peace time, let alone in War time. His bungling has shown the American People he is NOT READY to be the Commander in Chief, saber rattling will not convince me. This man has been LESS than TRUTHFUL to us during the campaign, TRUST is not one of his strong points, and quite to the contrary he is UNTRUSTWORTHY.
Wow, 5 years of missing the really important news, amazing. Don't hurt yourselves with all the back patting.
Hey... who was that crazy old White guy on the "Meet The Puppet"... aaahhhhh, I mean "Press" Roundtable? Oooooohhhh, never mind it was just Rep. Peter King (R-NY) lol
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Hey Useful Tools & other Conservative imbeciles... remember October 23, 1983 how 241 Marines were killed in Lebanon then President Reagan cut & run ?" SPQR
I am surprised that this program has survived so long with all the nonsense that spews from Joe's mouth. He spends half his time going down memory lane about his first love Ronald Reagan and then elevating pepetually hungry Governor Christie. Under the guise of objectivity he promotes a right wing, small government agenda and were he not on MSNBC would be another Hannity. He is arrogant, narcissistic, and egotistical and has the need to be stroked constantly by lackey Willie and Nika (who despite pretending to be a feminist hangs on every word Joe says like a small school girl.) I stopped watching morning joe months ago but could not resist the temptation to chime in on this dysfunctional birthday celebration.
Exactly. Thank god the Bill Press Show is on Current TV at the same time. Informative and funny.
Today, Sept.21 Joe spoke about growing up poor...well, Mr. Romney was not poor but at least he has decent manners. He does not hog the talk, nor does he continually interrupt guests. Joe, you are so full of yourself as a white dude that you really are "poor Joe, who can't stop his motor mouth. Although, now the entire panel are people with money, cars, maybe an extra beach house or apt. in the city and probably good health insurance and a great retirement plan?
Decent manners? I'm sorry, but this is the man who just dismissed half of the population as being irresponsible and essentially lazy. This includes the active and retired military service members and the retired members of society, the working poor and many of our middle class.
Additionally not a day goes by in which he doesn't outright lie about the President of this country as well as falsely accuse him of numerous activities and things he has said.
Perhaps you should look up the meaning of "manners."
Joe, I've been doing business my entire life. Romney has never impressed me as a real player in business. My guess is, he was the guy in the front office but other people did the real work. You can't be as weak as Romney appears to be after 20 years in high stakes business
To say they "hate us because they hate us" is to dehumanize the people--to say hate is in their nature. That's nuts. There are reasons some people hate the US embassies. Those reasons include that the US government has supported brutal dictators in many of those countries for years. Remember the money we gave to Mubarek that he used to repress his people and torture citizens. That causes people to hate Mubarek and the governments (US included) that kept him in power. Joe, you know this--think about it.
You're right "Happy." Most the people don't hate us. It's a small percentage of criminals and terrorists. General statements like, "They all hate us," show a very simplistic almost juvenile understanding of international relations.
This is why we need adults in the White House and in Washington. The Republicans have lost their way.
Mitt Romney wants to be Mexican.
"They hate us because they hate us" is a classic combination of dehumanization and denialism. Sure, some of the rioters are irrational fanatics. If Americans had lived under dictators, some of them supported by an Arab government, containing people who openly despised our beliefs, you might find some hatred for Arabs among us for that reason, and some of us might go a little nuts. In fact, Joe, I think you'd be one of them. You strike me as the perfect example of someone who might take a legitimate grievance and use it as an excuse to let your inner demons run wild.
Romney's comments make him sound like a conservative candidate in Honduras, Guatemala or Panama, not an American who wants to lead the whole nation. He wants to seize control of the government for the wealthy few and leave the rest of us in the dust. I can't believe that most Republicans, particularly Tea Party activists, endorse this kind of divisive, hatefilled talk. There are two kinds of statements with Romney, false and off the cuff.
Romney's father was humiliated by the Republican Party in the 1960's. Can it be that this campaign has been designed by Mitt to destroy the Republican Party. Mitt Romney is too smart to have these kind of repeated mistakes. The fact that since his nomination he has not campaigned in the battleground states except for Virginia. The fact that he is the only nominee of either party to leave his convention and go home for six days. I believe this is no mistake. He will destroy the party for years to come as the demographics are working against Republicans.
Happy anniversary. Joe's frustration grows when Harold Ford makes a calm intelligent point, when he can't get the pole numbers to agree with him, when his ideas are proven "intelectually exhausted" (same old same old) and when it's a fact - that we have seen the end of THAT movie in 2008.
OK guys, enough with the fixation on the Romney campaign! Obviosuly the inner workings of campaigns should be discussed on a primarily political talk show but what's bigger news?- What elitist Republicans who rarely leave Washington or Manhattan think about how Romney is running his campaign,,, or the FACT that the inept Obama Whitehouse, for a week, denied the attack in Libya was a pre-planned terrorist attack only to be proven they are either VERY naive or outright LIED to us about what happened. The Hypocrisy of the Whitehouse Press Sec to now say "it is self-evident that the attacks were a pre-planned terrorist act" after spending a week telling us they were all due to protests over a video clip that got out of hand.
I would think THIS is a bigger story, more relevant to ALL Americans and more worthy of leading your show with, than how Peggy Noonan or Bill Kristol feel about the daily operations of a campaign. You're losing credibility, daily, as to whether or not you're promoting the re-election of Pres Obama - with the vulture mentality you're showing about what you decide to focus on and how you present it as well as what you do NOT discuss.
I, for one, have become very saddened by this and have decided to tune in less and not make you as much of a part of my morning.

Couldn't agree with you anymore Bob. I guess that is why they're ratings keep declining. Way to go MSNBC, no wonder Microsoft split away from NBC. Good thing they let you keep the MS.
Morning Joe 5 years moving farther and farther to the left and finally to the point where 3 hours each morning is spent on bashing Romney and Republicans. America stop watching cable news shows that don't report news. MSNBC has one agenda and that is to re-elect Obama. The people on this round table show might as well pull the curtain back and let the viewers see Obama's hands working the puppet strings. I have tried to watch MSNBC, but all I hear is none stop hatred. MSNBC and all of its broadcasting has sold out to the government and stoped serving the American people like news programs were supposed to do. There was a time in this country when the news shows would in form and report honest news. Those days are long gone. Please wake up and stop being a mindless, unaware individuals. Take back America and stop letting the Government take down the greatest nation in the world. Government is employed by Americans not the opposite. Throw them all out if they don't serve the people. Term Limits, Term Limits, Term Limits!!!!
Joe, very disappointed about how you blew your guest off this morning that asked a very relevant question about who is actually polled and how polls are conducted! You spend a LOT of time fixating on polls and he asked a question a LOT, if not most Americans would like to know. Most people only know the final results reported by polling groups but don't know things like- What was the party affiliation of the people polled as a percentage- Dem, Rep, Ind.
I couldn't believe you didn't think this was a relevant question and not only blew it off but said it was "BORING".. yet you continue to use the "polls" to validate one discussion and opinion after another on your show.
It saddens me to start to think that maybe your show has become more about toting the MSNBC corporate line and political agenda, as is so evident by their evening line-up, than it is to have a fair discussions about the issues. Many important issues aren't even addressed on your show if they appear negative toward Pres Obama. Your show is the one and only on this network that usually seemed to provide some fairness when discussing politics. This fairness seems to be vanishing daily and it's getting harder to watch when I already know what the message is going to be before tuning in.
Happy 5th!
Happy "Morning Joe Day," and congratulations on five fabulous years! I've been watching for four, and I value your candid, respectful conversation about today's national and international issues. I'm more informed and enerergized by tuning in to you every day, and my day isn't complete if I miss the show! Thank you for all you do and to your team and guests. You're the best!
This is my First time doing something like this so bear with me as I stumble thru my feelings. Congrats on making my mornings knowledgeable and entertaining.I really like all the controversary and comradship among all of you. Of course Mika is a perfect example of an intelligent woman to be admired. Joe and I have different views and in most cases i find him tolerable. Danny is adorable but my idea of a real man is Mike. He reminds me of the men in my family -hard working ,down to earth family type of guy. Willy is the son everyone wants to say belongs to them.
Now for some issues- When Jeb Bush was on ,he talked about how much he did for education advancement and how the size of classes have decreased. Heres the truth ! My daughter teachers at the high scool level in Broward county. She teaches electives suh as computer,accounting,hospitality-In other word courses that will get kids real jobs & or help with college advancement. She averages 45 students per class. Which means she has to make up tests, grade and check on behavior problems of 45 students -6 periods a day - or as Clinton says do the math. When teaches complained last year they cut the classes to 38 made them teach a 7th period a day which they did get pd for.She hasnt had a raise in 5 years- this year they took the extra period away -therefore losing $6000 a yr in salary and have to teach the same amount of students in 6periods. Also Florida is rated 37th in quality of education..So how would you like to evaluate a teacher under those circumstances???Dont believe everything these Governors&ex governors have to say !
I also am a volunteer with AARP as an avocate. I understand you will be down here for the Presidential debates in October in Boca Florida.I will be at Lynn University volunteering with them that weekend. I would love to meet you and especially Mike. Any possibility of getting in and getting a ticket. Congrats again &good luck in the new studio!
