Oh oH, here we go again, 9/11, war profiteers right? Like Jeb said, George W. kept Americans safe... EXCEPT for 9/11, anthrax attacks, terrorists killing contractors, Corporate Crime Wave, economic collapse, etc....
I know it’s a stretch… but for arguments sake lets say Americans can conveniently forget about the 6570 dead, 30,000+ wounded US soldiers and only GOD knows how many Iraqis and Afghanis. Forget that Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rove took the good will of the world after 9/11 and turned it to HATE and mistrust.
How these chicken hawks sent our troops into battle WITHOUT PROPER ARMOR or any clear cut plan beyond George W. declaring “Mission Accomplished”. Never mind military strategists didn’t think it was a good idea to get rid of the ONE dictator (Saddam Hussein) in the Middle East that had an IRON BOOT on the throat of fanatical Islam. Remember… the terrorist, Osama bin Lunatic, degenerates that caused 9/11?
Forget IRAN? Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rove and Morning Joe can have victory in Iraq when they can stroll through Iraq WITHOUT an armored division and air support to keep them from harm… y’know like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has done several times since the USA got rid of Saddam.
FORGET the TRILLIONS of dollars wasted or the 20 BILLION dollars missing or the 175,000 weapons misplaced or all the arms dealers and WAR profiteers that milked our national treasury. FORGET about all the Constitutional VIOLATIONS, domestic spying, bold lying, Justice Dept. bias, Walter Reed, Abu Ghraib, soldiers getting electrocuted in showers due to shoddy military contractor work…
YEAaaaaa… once again, imagine we live in a country where almost half the population is dumber than a tree full of monkeys. In my opinion,IRAQ was a crock of $HIT !!!!!!! We shouldn't have even set foot in IRAQ since OBL was in AFGHANISTAN where we should have sent ALL of our military troops to begin with.Sure Saddam was a dictator and ruled his country with an IRON FIST along with his IRON BOOTS but at least he had full control of it where today I wouldn't even set foot in there.There is no-way I would even think about going to the middle east because of all the terrorism that's been going on for over 33 years now and still going.The only way to get rid of them is to NUKE them and get it over with in one strike instead of having it egg on for so long.

Just watched the interview w/ Kurt Eichenwald, author of 500 Days: Secrets and Lies in the Terror Wars which is fairly critical of the Bush administration's handling of information leading up 9/11 on Morning Joe. This is not a new revelation, by the way, but the details are interesting.
I think it's very telling that George Pataki, former Republican Governor, would have such a strong reaction against the book without having even having read it. What is he trying to prove that he is a staunch Republican because he stands with Bush? Give it a rest. Bush wasn't perfect. Smacks of book banning.
The author stated that he has gotten praise from people within the administration who were there at the time supporting his research. They were looking the other way when it happened!
Yesterday when Mika looked at the guests and then deeply into the camera as Joe was making one of his daily forays into Goofyville, as she expressed with her eyes and her expression that she knows and understands that Scarborough just makes stuff up and he doesn't care and he misstates the truth at will, as she simply gazed at her viewers through the camera to say, Yes I know, Joe is goofy, he can't help it, he's special, it was a moment of simple honesty. Mika's historic enabling of Scarborough's peculiarity, dishonesty, and narcissistic bullying is seemingly perhaps giving way to normalcy, realism, and rationality. Perhaps Mika feels it's time to stop enabling Scarborough's dysfunctionality. But then again, that would be peculiarly normal and unexpected behavior in regard to Joe Scarborough within the confines of "Morning Joe." Well done Mika Brzezinski and ..... Gobama! Yes we can ... again!
Plus I notice that the words connivance and contrivance I've been using for a short while in regard to corporate media both were used by Mika yesterday. It's funny how that happens, every week. Pundits are blog scavengers, and they never admit it. I know my posts are read because every week something from my posts makes it to tv. Every week. Gobama!

Plus 2 more cents, imo: Joe is slowly psychologically pounding Mika into the ground, it's just who he is. He will continue and he will probably never cease to be a predatory bully. He is a walking, talking stereotype. He's primal. Primal folks think being exploitive and being a bully are signs of strength. They're usually just afraid of their own weaknesses and inadequacies, so they strike out, as an overcompensation for their own internal fears, anxieties, and insecurities.
Imo, In other words, bullies are cowards. They are afraid to face themselves. They turn their own frustration and anxiety and insecurity into other directed anger and hostility and divisiveness and derision and even violence. . They are dysfunctional. Some of course are not simply narcissistic bullies, some suffer from narcissistic personality disorder and some few, very few, are psychopathic and have no regard for their victims at all. Psychopaths are simply incapable of empathy and compassion. Those who seek to psychologically or physically dominate others are not psychologically healthy, or normal..They are toxic. They seek to victimize others to buttress their own egos, but will never be satisfied. They seek to fill a bottomless hole in their own souls, and will therefore simply continue to bully and abuse others. NPD and psychopathia are generically considered to be incurable.
