I am so disappointed in Morning Jo. I can no longer tell the difference between what Mika says and what Joe says. There used to be at least one voice that wasn't drunk on kool aid, but apparently that voice has been lost. Joe please come home, otherwise your show will become increasingly unwatchable and head straight to oblivion, like the Keith Oberman show.
How true. Mika sounds just like one of the members of "Republican boys."
What happened? Mika used to be the truth teller. The one we could count on to step in and set the record straight. I've noticed Joe has just been yelling over her but she shouldn't be intimidated. There are enough people at MSNBC like, Andrea Mitchell, Alex Witt, Chuck Todd and, of course, David Gregory who are horribly biased towards to right.
I'm sick of hearing that both sides, the right and the left, in Washington are partisan. The Democrats have not raised taxes and only want the Bush taxes to expire which is what balanced our budget in the Clinton years (what a 4% raise)?
The Democrats have not restricted gun rights.
The Democrats have not instituted government run health insurance and , in fact, instituted the Republican private health care plan they developed over two decades and vetted and started under Romney in Massachusetts.
The Democrats have not increased spending and, in fact, Obama has decreased spending more than any of the past President going back and including Reagan.
The Democrats have not refused to work with the Republicans everyone knows it is the Republicans who have refused to work with him. There are numerous articles, books and videos that show the Republican leaders of the House and Senate coming right out and saying they would not work with him in and effort to make him a one term president and they have voted against his jobs/economics bills 19 times (20 times on monday).
So give me a break, it is not only the Republicans who are partisan and who have been completely dishonest during these last two years, but it has also been the bulk of the media. The media who needs to stop claiming that they are liberal and admit that they are puppets of their corporate masters and advertisers and are not by any measure neutral or balanced (with the exception of prime-time MSNBC). I am especially disappointed with the likes of CNN who are truly as bad as FOX these days. Fox, CNN, ABC need to stop calling themselves news and calling themselves what they are and that's tabloid journalism, (and I use the term "journalism" loosely here).
I am sorry to hear Joe Scarborough didn’t like the president’s convention speech. It seems the president's speech didn’t make him feel good about America. Well, here’s what he should do. “Take two tax cuts, roll back some regulations, and call us in the morning!’”

The President 'connected with the American Dream for the first time last night', Joe? For the First time Joe? President Obama is the EPITOME of the American Dream!!! I hate to say it, but Scarborough is just so outside of reality when it comes to African-Americans and other Minorities...and I am trying to be nice by this statement.....the truth about Scarborough is obvious and doesn't need to be said....
Yes Joe's version and the Republican version of the American dream is a European aristocratic dream that is decidedly non-American. It is a corporatist, Ayn Randian dream of inequality, government control, and theocratic governance.
