The restaurant is located at 210 East Trade Street, and we'll be starting at 5:30 a.m. with Way Too Early, so come on down.

Unless you have some Republicans and/or conservatives, I won't be able to watch. You had plenty of Democrats/liberals on during the RNC convention. I live in NC and we are planning to turn it RED in November. PLEASE.....NOT Morning Mika.
Elizabeth Little: You only watch people who agree with you on your TV machine? Did you miss last week's Republican convention when Morning Joe had a dozen Republicans prance across our TV screens and lie and misstate the facts? Of course their lies had to be responded to, often by "Democrats/ liberals" who spoke the truth, and gave you the facts. You want more of that? I've got NEWS for you: Joe Scarborough is a REPUBLICAN! So the show is even named after a REPUBLICAN! Try to catch up and join the more informed people who post here. Elizabeth, if you are actually "serious" about having an open mind, then I suggest you stop labeling people as "Democats/liberals" and listen to the content of what they say.
Otherwise, I fear your credibility and your ability to be respected as a serious thinking American is in Jeopardy by your posts here.

Epiccenter parking garage is open. Mass transit doesn't start early enough to be there by 5:00. College street hang right on 4th. They promised me that we can get to the garage.

You need to call the Blackfinn saloon and see if they have tickets left. $25 per person, and standing room is all that is left, no table seats. They email or fax you a form to authorize credit card payment, and that is your reservation.

Looking forward to a great convention
I'm amazed by reporters interviewing prominent party members following a key speech. I don't think anyone will say "I think he came up a little short on that one" on the convention floor. I'd much rather listen to the pundits break the speech down especially if it's a well represented panel.

Teresa, I truly agree with you, but to expand, out of all of the MSNBC shows, this is the I like the least. They seem to be negative and cut people off. Its amazing to me that on last week at the RBC, they seemed to give the RBC a stage to talk without interruption and criticize the democrats (with no problem).......this morning, they seem desire to beat up the democrat with no problem at all.

Barack Obama saved America from the Bush Depression while Republicans failed to do ONE THING to help the recovery. Are we better off? Without a doubt and would be much better off if Republicans were rewarded for their desire to destroy the president at the expense of the American people and the economy were thrown out of office. A little tired of the my way or the highway attitute of Republicans. One would think a party with so much absolute failure would get a clue and get out of the way - the only way America moves forward is to kick the GOP preventing it out of the way. We got bin Laden - now get lost GOP.
Please stop offering alcohol and referring so positively about the effects of drinking shots etc. Lots of folks are recovering and making lame jokes about early morning drinking is demeaning to all of you and your guests. So the concensus is that the DNC has a "prettier and better choreographed" convention. That should come as no surprise. The DNC has always been better at spinning their BS. Same message of "hope and caring" as last election. We should vote for Obama because he "cares". It's all warm and fuzzy and "sounds" wonderful doesn't it? Unfortunately the reality is something totally different. As this country roars down the track of economic disaster, we desperately need new leadership in this country. I'm sure some people will fall victim to their emotions and pull the lever for another 4 years of this song and dance. Hopefully the majority will not.
So we should vote GOP back in so we can relive the wonderful experience we all went through during the last year of "W"? Since Pres. Obama took office GOP has lied, cheated, obstructed, everything to discredit the President lawfully elected by a majority of Americans putting party before the American people and for that we should reward them with the White House? We independents are a group of well informed individuals who don't get our "news" from FOX noise and we remember the mess the GOP left us in. If GOP continues on its past of obstructionism the entire party will disappear very soon.
Joe is too critical and talks about what he did when he was in congress and working with Newt. Obviously he was not very popular, I don't remember him at all. He is so negative and interrupts others while they are speaking. However, Mika knows how to handle him politely.
The show is so much better when Joe is not on the set. Everyone can express themselves without negative interruptions.

You MSNBC commentators are pathetically amazing. You chatter on and on about the bold, wonderful choreographing of the DNC convention-nice colors, etc.-, but avoid, obfuscate, lie, stick your head in the sand and contort if Obama's ROTTEN PERFORMANCE RECORD AS PRESIDENT comes up. You have been talking only to yourselves and the liberal minority (20%) of the voters. Pay attention to the rest if the country (80%)...if you dare.
Watching Morning Joe as I used to do most mornings. When good employment numbers and drop in unemployment came out this morning Joe seemed disappointed. Am I wrong? Mika thank you for asserting yourself lately, I switched off for a while as I was tired of watching Joe bully you and treat you as a nuisance.
What planet do you live on. It is remarkable that he managed to accomplish as much as he did with all the GOP obstruction. I am an independent who will always remember that when the country was in the midst of a disaster brought to us courtesy of the GOP all the GOP did was inflict more pain on Americans instead of helping the President implement solutions. What they did was unamerican as they placed party before the good of the country. Shame on you.
