Joe is a bully when mikka or harold ford or someone doesn't agree with him he over talks them and acts like he has anger issues. Plus he looks like bevis and acts like a butthead.
I wish Joe and Mika would be replaced.Joe is out of control at times.I thought he was going to choke David Axelrod some time ago.I'm sick of hearing about his time in the senate.Mika is just as sullen as ever. They are getting like Fox.I for one don't want to listen to him talking over everyone else while his guests sit and listen and seem afraid to really talk much.Joe should go to Fox .I love MSNBC,and this is not a good for the network
Mika - Really? I have watched your show for years now, and am officially going to start channel surfing. I once thought this was a balanced show. You hammered Robert Gibb yesterday about the ad produced by Burton, yet not you or Joe confronted Newt about the misinformation he is peddling. Heilman was the only one on the show who showed some backbone. As for Christy - did anyone notice that he never answered that woman's question other than to insult her. To quote " I have to look out for all the children in New Jersey",Please!!!! Mika how do you look out for the children of New Jersey by cutting funding to education.
And as for that Romney ad, no one has called him a murderer. I think you're missing the point. Bain has impacted so mahy lives by their actions, and not in a positive way. How do you defend outsourcing, take overs, lay offs, off shore accounts. I want a President who will invest in the country he wants to run. Romney has so much faith in this country that he feels the need to protect his money everywhere but here.
Now I feel better. Any morning shows you might recommend?
@ pamiam39....DITTO!!
I'm with you, pamiam... what's with her and Christy? She was really nasty with Eugene this morning when he said Christy would be a risky pick for Romney. I really like the show when those two are not there.
Couldn't agree more. A couple of comments.
On Christy v. Gail - I have looked at that exchange many times. Gail is not rude, Christy is. I am not sure why they keep saying Gail was rude. Christy was a bully and morning joe is acting as a cheering section.
On the "ad that calls Mitt Romney a murderer' - I would like to have someone point out where it says that. We can argue that it "implies" that, but I would respectfully disagree. I personally think that the people affected by Bain closing plants are viewed as "collateral damage" by the Bain decision makers. In their mind, producing profit for investors is the main goal, and the actions to get that result are done, and whatever collateral damage ... well, to quote the Onceler "business is business, and business must grow".
I have had conversations with people of faith about "Thou shalt not kill" and it is been made clear to me that the actual commandment is "Thou shalt not murder" (i.e., intent to kill). Whether collateral damage is one or the other is for each person to decide, in their mind and with their God.
I felt a deja vu moment watching the Morning Joe Show this morning. Then, I finally figured out why. Joe is beginning to sound as paranoid and delusional as he did around this time of the 2008 election campaign!!!! LOL!! Go for it Joe. Lie on your President and anger up the crowd!! LOL!! It will work just like it did the last time OBAMA 2012.
Get angry about your party trying to disenfranchise peoples right to vote!! That would be something good for you to yell about!! Oh, I forgot, you are all for 'taking this Country back'.....that's the GOP slogan.
Chris Christy for VP, really? He may play well in Jersey but in my neck of the woods he comes across as a blovating, abrasive, bully. He lacks the temperament needed in a national figure. Can't believe Mika can't see beyond the east coast. The fact he has a great wife and great family doesn't qualify him to be on the ticket. Get out beyond the cocoon and talk to real folks.
Joe? Ryan really!
He’s studied a little bit of economics,He’s a policy guy and always was a policy guy! He attached himself to leadership of that party and voted that way thru all his votes this last decade..!if you’re a policy wonk, and you’ve only ever worked in DC, you’re going to be even more of an Ivory Tower guy, the last decade and his votes proved it you just can't wipe a slate clean and start again.
I often wonder following him and his thinking how his proposal's are a republican/lobbyist dream since he promotes a nightmare that America is not!and does not want. Maybe his bus tour should start with the Nuns!because they surely would follow him.
Republicans need to understand that they are being left behind if they continue to think that they can sell their hopes and dreams, with persons or front people they want to pull the strings and shove policy's and their ideas down our throats.
Obama did not have the legislative career in years! But he thinks and comes across as what is best for persons in all aspects of life...but his strings are not pulled by the left and he is not a robo/signer that the republicans want and force policy's that people do not want, so stop selling Ryan as qualified because he is not.
Republican party is being exposed today as a farce, with people who have bought into the party with their wealth to control the agenda for themselves, their hate for
a man exposes who they are and have been because it's all about themselves and Ryan is one of the boys who listens and will do their bidding without regard to the effect of their policy's on the avg. American
Romney is prime example of strings being pulled and he is not one of us, and his secrecy will be the end of him because he is running for president not CEO where he work's for a board and does what's in the best interest of select few.
wow.watching your show right now online...just gotta say.why don you guys and Christie get a room already???!?! I mean you guys seem to be in love with him for real.. the only thing I see of this is that you guys do not tell your viewers really why you love him so much. The reason is that you would have so much fun material to work with from now til election versus the boring material you will have with a Portman pick. I mean really, how stupid do you think your viewers are? Chris can not carry the load as a VP pick in a lot of states..and NJ is a different animal than say Ohio or South Carolina...as they say oil and water do not mix...and Chris is definitely oil. you want him because he is "real" ..ok, but Romney does not want someone who will take his thunder(whatever that may be) and Christie will definitely do that ..he is not vp material, he is a reality show in motion and Romney cant work with that... I am rambling cause i have not had my starbucks yet..just sayin..
What is wrong with Morning Joe for the last two days. Yesterday, Gingrich rolls over Mika et all with his pathological lies about President Obama's welfare policy. Today, all on the panel praised the possible choice of Chris Christie for Veep.
Just as Sarah Palin was intellectually unqualified to be VEEP, Christie is physicall unqualified. Many in this country will think rightly or wrongly that if he can't control his own body, how can he run the country. He has absolutly no discipline. It woud be difficult, if not impossible, for him to maintain the type of campaign schedule the presidential candidates need in order to win. Travelling across New Jersey is far different from travelling across the country.
Also, he has absoultly no foreign policy experience. Finally, he comes across as a bully. Good choice?
If I was Harold Ford it would be a cold day in Hell before I appeared on Morning Joe again after today. Joe was so obnoxious and condascending to him it was sickening. I wish just once SOMEONE would interrupt Joe and tell him to shut it and let the other person finish a sentence without being rudely interrupted. I am soo sick of listening to Joe talk out his ass. And Mika, grow a backbone. Must be you got a sizeable raise because all you do is sit there and look pretty.
I tape Morning Joe & watch in the evening---can't agree more--Mike was disgusting, rude and obnoxious when addressing Eugene Robinson --he has the right to his opinion--but what really appalled me was that he seemed to have been relegated to the status of Donny D (absolutely NO RESPECT) - I notice she did NOT interrupt David Gregory==what a disgusting display ---
