Savor that last slice of pepperoni while you still can -- Obamacare will soon raise the price of pizza, according to Papa John CEO John Schnatter.
“Our best estimate is that the Obamacare will cost 11 to 14 cents per pizza,” Schnatter said on a conference call last week, as reported by Politico.
Shattner’s statement has been met with some backlash – Salon magazine blasted “Papa John’s pizza extortion."

I just love it when a millionaire that has more money than he can ever spend won't split the difference in cost with the customer so an employee can get a little medical benefit. If he had come out and said that he would give people insurance if the public would split the cost with him he would have more business than he could handle. The quality of PaPa Johns pizza went way downhill about 10 years ago with poor ingredients while the price went up.
