morning joe show is terrible. joe is a big mouth know it all, mika is just trying so hard to be a real reporter. she fails, does not know the facts. morning joe was great last week with larence as host. get rid of joe and mika put new host in, maybe willie.
Please get rid of Dan. Why are all Fox people on MSNBC..... If I wanted to listen to theese lies I WOULD turn on Fox. There is no difference anymore between Morning Joe and Fox.
Once again, today's show was excellent! I like it when Mike Barnicle is coordinating the conversation because he let's people actually have a discussion. The show brings people to the table who have expertise in the topic at hand, and seeing them discuss a topic from all points of view wthout postering or trying to one up each other enables me to relax, enjoy my moring coffee, and gain some different perspectives on things. I don't always agree with what is said, but often what is said gives me more to think about -- to look at other sides of things. I appreciate this show when it is conducted in this format. When Mike Barnicle actually has the helm of the show, though, without Mika directing the conversatioin, things flow better. It's as though letting the conversation take a direction, Mika feels obligated to direct it the way she wants it to go. Mike Barnicle accomplishes this in a much smoother way.
I agree about Mike B. Joe gets in the way sometimes.
Mica,
Someone (You) please silence these “Job Creator Advocates” - all their arguments about tax rates staving off new job creation are bunk. Any real “job creator” knows that any employee expense is a deductible expense so the tax rate is irrelevant to those costs. Or as a matter of fact the higher the tax rate the more attractive the employee investment (lower net cost to the higher taxed employer).
These arguments come from political hacks who have never run a business or can’ deal with the truth.
David W. Ashley
The job creator advocates were dead wrong when they argued against raising taxes in the Clinton administration.
They were dead wrong when they lowered taxes in the Bush Administration.
Now they are sitting on two trillion dollars and refusing to hire people despite the fact that they still have their huge tax breaks and the highest profits in the history of the nation. So what are these Republicans talking about? Oh yeah, they love to prevaricate so they can keep their money and spend it to influence politicians and legislation.
Since the Republicans are trying to turn back our social policies 50 years why don't we turn back their tax rate 50 years and raise the top marginal tax rate to 85% - 95%? Seems only fair and they are the ones who seem to love the 50's so damn much.

I thought the comments about the business reporter's ears was in really bad taste. You can talk "holier than thou" about bullying in schools and then spend way too long ribbing him. Not funny! People may say I lack a sense of humor, but...
I wish Joe and Mika would quit talking over each other. Do they really have that little respect for each other that they always have to interrupt. You really can't get what they are talking about over all the noise. I watch MSNBC all the time but a couple times this week I had to change to CNN because they gave me a headache.
