The new rules and methodology of modern day war has been forced upon the United States by terrorists throughout the world. We must "fight fire with fire" if our country is to be protected against the new enemies of the free world.
Remember how many innocent persons of all ages, who were not convicted of anything, died in the terrorist attack of the twin towers of the Trade Center in New York City...
It is the duty and responsibility of any President of the United States to protect our country using any and all means to do so. The President is not attacking, he is protecting and should be supported in his policies, both overt and covert, in doing so...
But isn't it counter-intuitive? By attacking "terrorists" through the brute force of the US military, we also indiscriminately killing hundreds or thousands of innocent civilians who were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Wouldn't this result in a new generation of people who grew up hating the U.S. and setting us up for another 9/11?
