I understand the big problem with the Arizona law is that officers HAVE to check the immigration status. This means when investigating a non-immigration crime he/she can't opt NOT to. This means that victims of serious crime won't stick around to be interviewed.
The Arizona law is nothing but racial profiling targetting Latinos. Joe and his buddy Willie Geist are praying the Supreme Court decision on health care will take this off the front pages but it will not take it off the minds of the over 50 million Latinos who will soon form an increasing part of the American public. I also must take note that Morning Joe excludes Latinos from its panel programming. Puerto Ricans/Latinos are 28 percent of NYC but Morning Joe can only find that pompus ass from Univision to comment. What happen to congressmembers Jose Serrano, Luis Gutierrez, or Nydia Velazquez. You show will eventually become Morning Jose- your institutional exclusion notwithstanding. Lastly, Joe take this to the bank- President Barack Obama will be reelected your reactionary "small government conservative" rethoric will not stop the people from voting for the candiate that best repesents the American people. By the way where is puppet Romney on the Dream Act and the Arizona law. He hasn't received his orders from the wall street ventriliquist?
Juan Sotomayor
The campaigns are about nothing? What is this show about?
Thanks for your question. It's about politics, like all other political talk shows, which have more nothing than anything, with a homozygous agenda of subjects out of political illusion (nothing) where discussion has no sustained media demand for substantive to-the-question answers guests refuse to give before moving on to the next item dictated by agenda presented in a manner to get you to the next commercial that pays their wages. It's the media paradigm that limits, as all paradigms do, the show host and any best intentions.
