Mitt Romney took home some pretty serious wins last night in Washington D.C., Maryland and Wisconsin.
And this morning, Joe Scarborough and Time's Mark Halperin had a quick exchange about Romney's odds at winning the general election later this year.
Scarborough said no one is expecting Romney to pull out a win.
Joe Scarborough: Nobody thinks Romney is going to win. Can we just say this for everybody at home? I have yet to meet a person in the Republican establishment that thinks Mitt Romney is going to win the general election this year. They won’t say it on TV because they’ve got to go on TV, and they don’t want people writing them nasty emails. I obviously don’t care. I have yet to meet anybody in the Republican establishment that worked for George W. Bush, that works in the Republican Congress, that worked for Ronald Reagan that thinks Mitt Romney is going to win the general election.
Mark Halperin: I don’t totally agree with that, but even if you think Mitt Romney is going to lose. Still, in 2016 there are so many strong candidates out there.
Scarborough: Who?
Halperin: Mitch Daniels, Bobby Jindal, Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush.

Ron Paul is our only chance. Romney and Obama are both big-spending, war-mongering, ant civil liberties, and empty suits kowtowing to their corporate overlords.
Ron Paul is the only candidate with passionate supporters that can win over independants and conservatives!
I am so tired of hearing Scarborough run his mouth about austerity and justfying Republican policies that are obviously destroying the Middle Class. Scarorough reveals SO MUCH about Republicans if you listen carefully. This morning he made a comment that the U.S doesn't have to spend billions like China to stop people from marching in the street. Really? Funny you should check out the main headline on your own website:
Occupy protests cost taxpayers millions
Scarborough also slipped up when he was talking about Scott Walker, "We thought Walker...I thought Walker," Republicans can't think for themselves, they need to check if it's okay with their party before they say something. Just watch Mitt Romney.
Joe you may have won awards, but to me you're a BIG part of the problem. You're nothing but a prissy little rich boy like all the Republicans, who don't care about public education, unions, or the poor.
Repubilcans want to keep the populace dumb and poor. How else are they going to get your vote?
Oh, you were serious. On the rare occasion where Ron Paul is fully lucid or on some very specific topics he is spot on. However, Ron Paul is much like the bible. Full of old teachings that do no apply to modern living. Some of the big specific ones do but as a whole it misses the mark. Now, for the bible we have interpreters that we call priests and preachers. We should not be having an interpreter for the POTUS.
On a side note - isn't it time Joe Scarborough aoplogize for gettin git wrong on Iraq and castigating the initial war critics?
Here is what he said:
A few months later, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough (4/10/03) demanded that war critics apologize:
