Herein lies the problem in the African American community; animals are precieved as more valuable to society than poor people. For example if a person is displaced from thier job or home society says oh well we will pay for you to live in a shelter at night but you are on the street in the day time. If you want food you can get it after you produce countless documents proving your worthiness. (all of which takes time and money to obtain). Secondly, when a famous White football player get accused of rape no less than three times sees no justice, but a Black man who's property was used to fight animals is sent to prision having not participated in the events, where is the justice? Once again African Americans only see a system that holds them to a hire level of accountability than the rest of society when in fact we all should be held to the same level; regarding women, children and the poor with the same and perhaps more value than the animals we also love.
Joe, Could you please post some more news on the economy (still sucks) and Afghanistan (still going on). No? O.K. Since this is important news (Palin), care to share any comments on your boy Weiner? Cue the crickets......
