Here's a look at stories we're following right now. What are you reading this morning?
This definitely happened yesterday!
Afghanistan choice looms for the president
Obama loses his bin Laden bounce, a new poll suggests
Mitt says Sarah Palin is 'the best thing that could happen to me'
Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, Austan Goolsbee, says that he will resign

Just because you are ignoring the Weiner story, it doesn't make it go away. When a leading Congressional figure lies to everyone, it is an important story. Maybe even more important than Lykstra or the prattling about Huntsman.
Thank you for a great MORNING JOE it was so nice not to have the drama of a certain rep. a great choice made by all of you... real news I hope you will continue to cover what is relevent to all of us and not the stuff that 100 years from now no one will really care
I disagree. I am an independent and look forward to Morning Joe's reports as they usually generate 2, 3, 4... different opinions from the guests. Ignoring the story of Rep. Weiner makes Morning Joe look hippocritical! I am so very disppointed in this tactic. So much so, I do not believe I can trust the message coming from this show any more. You are not so neutral, are you?

I applaud your efforts by avoiding the Rep. Weiner story ... with reservation. You have now set a standard by which you must abide. Any future stories of ANY legislators, government officials or celebraties and their sexual indescretions, regardless of political leanings, and your show will have to avoid airing anything about it or discussing it, or else the hypocrisy, loss of trust and respect for your show will be tremendous ... and you will lose this dedicated viewer.
I too was very disappointed in the show today. I am not a Palin supporter, but to start the show with her clip and not even mention the Weiner story ?!?! I have watched the show since the beginning because of Joe and his views, sarcasm and wit. Was this Mika's idea? It was funny at the start of the show when everyone brought up lesser stories, but Weiner should have been discussed. Go back to being the Morning Joe that I enjoy.
For a "balanced" show, you missed the mark this morning. How can you not cover a story about someone in a position of trust and authority who blatantly lied to everyone. The judgement and dishonesty displayed by this very public Representative needs to be examined publicly. As an independent voter, I am influenced by your show and your guests and expected at least a mention of the incident which was above the fold in all major papers this morning. ( I did see your conspicuous display of a number of them showing Rep. Weiner and the opening in which everyone was obviously uncomfortable skirting the issue.) I am assuming the order to ignore came from on high.
